Rebecca started her career in the gas and oil industry in 2013 after leaving the insurance industry. As she started to go out into the field and meet with landowners the one thing she found in common was that no one took the time to sit down with them to see what their short-, and long-term goals were with either leasing or selling their mineral rights.
She was told by countless landowner’s” the last person that came here was so pushy they just wanted me to sign”. They didn't explain things or take the time to review the lease or option to sell agreement. She soon realized this was a very big missing component. She made it her mission to take the time to meet with her people and review all options. People are in different phases of life there isn’t a one size fits all option. By doing this she started to obtain many referrals from landowners and attorneys referring their clients to her vs the “fly by night” companies that didn’t have the landowner’s best interest at hand.
